Matthias Müller-Zhang, violin, was born in Leipzig and studied in Leipzig and Basel, among others, with Klaus Hertel, Gerhard Bosse, and Thomas Füri.

After several temporary contracts with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, his path led him from Hannover to Salzburg, where he has worked as an orchestral musician since 2009. He has played in numerous chamber orchestras throughout Germany and Switzerland (e.g.,the Bachorchester Leipzig). He is also the founder and conductor of the Consort Ripieno Concertino and the Virtuosi Bavariae.
