Christian Voß

The violinist Christian Voß graduated with honors from the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. In 2015 he founded the Ensemble ContraPunct_us. His debut CD German Arias was nominated for the German Record Critics’ Award in 2016.

Since then he has worked with many greats of the baroque music world such as Dorothee Oberlinger, Wolfgang Katschner, Riccardo Minasi, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Amandine Beyer, Alexis Kossenko and many others. Concerts, festivals and CD recordings have led him throughout Europe and to China, where he has performed as a soloist and chamber musician as well as in different ensembles.
