Cellist Aleke Alpermann began her studies with Stephan Forck at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, and also studied chamber music performance with Eberhard Feltz. She devotes much of her time to chamber music and has performed in concert with the RIAS Chamber Choir Berlin, Daniel Hope, Sayako Kusaka, Matthias Wollong and Georg Kallweit. Concert tours have taken her throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America and she featured in CD recordings and radio productions. She was a member of the Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, the Jugendbarockorchester BACHS ERBEN and Ensemble Concerto +14, with whom she won a scholarship from the German Music Council in 2012. As co-founder of the La Cara Cosa Trio she won First Prize at the International Graun Competition in 2011 and Second Prize at the International Bach Competition in Berlin in 2013.
