Jannike Liebwerth, born in Berlin, studied acting and singing at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich after graduating from high school. As part of numerous full-time engagements, including in Eisenach, Meiningen, Münster, and Krefeld, she has performed roles such as Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Lale Andersen in Lale, and Masha in Chekhov’s Three Sisters. In the course of her work with several internationally renowned directors, she has made a number of guest appearances in Ryazan, Russia.
Having grown up bilingual, Jannike Liebwerth also appears in international film and cinema productions and works as a narrator in various film and voice projects. Her solo chanson theater performance Illusions – Alexandraʼs Life, about the worldfamous pop singer Alexandra, has been captivating audiences at numerous theaters throughout Germany since January 2015.
