The playing of Ani Ter-Martirosyan is characterized by its unique passion and emotional power. Critics have praised her for her effortless virtuosity (Neue Zürcher Zeitung) and her poetic and sensitive sound.

As a sought-after concert pianist, Ani Ter-Martirosyan can be heard in concert halls such as the Cologne Philharmonie, the Robert-Schumann-Saal Düsseldorf, the Theater Aachen, the Teatro Quirino and Galleria Borghese in Rome, and the Villa Medici Giulini in Milan.

While still a student, the young pianist won awards at renowned competitions and festivals, such as the Osimo International Piano Competition in Italy, the Concours Île-de-France, the Sieghard-Rometsch Competition in Germany and the Engadin Festival in Switzerland.

Ani Ter-Martirosyan has received scholarships from several prestigious foundations. In addition to her solo career, the pianist also performs as a versatile chamber musician. She has worked with well-known figures such as Ulrich Eisenlohr, Hans Eijsackers, Juliane Banse, Konrad Jarnot and Lioba Braun and presents a wide variety of repertoire from contemporary music to the Romantic art song throughout Germany.

Born in Armenia, she began taking piano lessons at the age of six. She was accepted into the State Conservatory in Yerevan where she received her training with Anna and Sergei Saradjian. She then studied piano at the Cologne University of Music with Pavel Gililov and Jacob Leuschner.

Ani Ter-Martirosyan attended the class of Barbara Szczepanska at the Robert Schumann Conservatory Düsseldorf, where she completed her degree with distinction. She subsequently undertook further studies at the Cologne University of Music, pursuing a degree in lied interpretation under the tutelage of Ulrich Eisenlohr.

She has participated in numerous master classes with such important musical figures as Ferenc Rados, Dmitri Bashkirov, Jacques Rouvier, Claudio Martínez Mehner, and Hisako Kawamura.
