Florian Streich is solo cellist of the dogma chamber orchestra and has received the OPUS KLASSIK award with this ensemble. As an enthusiastic chamber musician who has won numerous international awards, he regularly performs as a soloist and guest in symphony and chamber orchestras and audio(visual) productions both at home and abroad.
His violoncello studies at the Academy of Music and Dance Cologne, Aachen, as well as studies in The Hague and Frankfurt am Main, were complemented by chamber music studies in Madrid and Frankfurt, where he also studied baroque cello. He teaches at the Mainz School of Music, the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, and the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt am Main.
