Bernadett Mészáros studied harpsichord at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, graduating with artistic and pedagogical diplomas. Afterward, she went to Leipzig to broaden her artistic skills at the University of Music and “Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy”. She also rounded out her studies by attending master classes with Malcolm Bilson, Ketil Haugsand, Gordon Murray, Jacques Ogg, Nicholas Parle, Johann Sonnleitner, and Miklós Spányi.
Since then, Bernadett Mészáros has performed as a soloist and as a sought-after chamber music partner in concerts in Hungary, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Poland. In addition to the present recording, she has made radio and CD recordings with „Aura Musicale“ (Budapest) under the direction of Balázs Máté, with the camerata lipsiensis and Opella Musica as well as with the Ensemble 1684 under the direction of Gregor Meyer. In her adopted hometown of Leipzig, Bernadett Mészáros teaches harpsichord and accompaniment at the Johann Sebastian Bach School of Music and can be heard here in numerous chamber and church music concerts.
