German Soprano Isabelle Catherine Vilmar was accepted as a "young student" at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre while still in high school studying under Kammersaenger Professor Judith Beckmann. She continued her studies at the University of the Arts and the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin, where she received her Diploma in 2011 under Kammersaenger Professor Roman Trekel.

She received scholarships from the Hamburg Rotary Club, the Alfred Toepfer Foundation, the Richard Wagner Association Berlin/Brandenburg and the German National Academic Foundation. She has performed for the past 10 years for the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation 'Live Music Now', which offers aspiring young artists performance practice and financial stipends in various venues (hospitals, retirement homes, prisons) under its charitable auspices.

Her operatic roles include Chawa (Stephan 'Die ersten Menschen'), Mlle Silberklang (Mozart 'Der Schauspieldirekto'), Elettra (Mozart 'Idomeneo'), Donna Elvira (Mozart 'Don Giovanni'), several parts in Kagels 'Staatstheater' and Witwe (Hartmann 'Das Wachsfigurenkabinett').

In the concert field she has sung "9th Symphony" by Beethoven, "Wesendonck-Lieder" by Wagner, Dvoraks "Requiem", Mahlers "Resurrection Symphony", "Gurre-Lieder" by Schoenberg and performed "Lateinisches Requiem" by Reger and the "Kantate auf den Tod Kaiser Josef II" by Beethoven. A "Wagner Soirée" was presented for the Berlin Parliamentary Association.

She performed among others with the Muenchner Rundfunkorchester (M. Foremny), the Bayerisches Kammerorchester (J. Moesus), the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz (L. Kraemer), the Württembergischen Philharmonie Reutlingen (H. Hastedt), the Philharmonia of the Nations (J. Frantz), the Symphony Orchestra of the German National Academic Foundation (M. Wettges) and the Symphony Orchestra of the Festival of Young Artists Bayreuth (K.A. Rickenbacher).

In July and August 2014 Isabelle C. Vilmar participated in the Internationale Meistersinger Akademie in Neumarkt i.d.Opf. (Patron: Kurt Masur) and worked with the great Masters such as Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Edith Wiens, Ks. Prof. Brigitte Fassbaender, Prof. Rudolf Piernay, Dr. Stephen King, Craig Terry and others.
