Born in Rendsburg in 1987, Cornelius Gebert (speaker) completed his acting training in Stuttgart in 2010. His first engagement brought him to the Theater Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, where he performed from 2010 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he was part of the ensemble at the Theater Magdeburg, followed by a tenure at Theater Bielefeld from 2018 to 2022. At Bielefeld, he worked under directors including Michael Heicks, Dariusch Yazdkhasti, Peter Kastenmüller, and Cilli Drexel.

For the 2022–23 season, Cornelius Gebert returned as a permanent ensemble member to the Theater Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, where he notably appeared in the production (R)Evolution: A Guide to Surviving the 21st Century by Yael Ronen and Dimitrij Schaad, directed by Christoph Roos.
