Lin Chen

Lin Chen (Percussion) performs with renowned ensembles and orchestras, including the International Mahler Orchestra, captivating audiences across China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Europe’s cultural capitals. In Hamburg, she is acclaimed for her exceptional artistry in performances with the Norddeutscher Rundfunk at the Elbphilharmonie, the Black Box series at the Opera Stabile (Staatsoper Hamburg), and the Hamburger Klangwerktage.

As an exceptional artist, Lin Chen has also appeared in the Stars von morgen (Stars of Tomorrow) series with the Symphoniker Hamburg at the Laeiszhalle under Muhai Tang and as a soloist in Tan Dun’s Water Concerto with the Duisburger Philharmoniker at the Mercatorhalle Duisburg under Axel Kober.

Since 2022, Lin Chen has performed with organist Kerstin Petersen as Duo DRUMS & PIPES, with notable concerts at the Frauenkirche Dresden and the Orgelpark Amsterdam.
