Jens Josef regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Germany and abroad. He has taken part in numerous CD and radio recordings and his repertoire ranges from the Baroque to the music of our time. He has premiered a number of works, some dedicated to him, and also devotes himself to other styles such as jazz and pop music and free improvisation.

He has collaborated with Salome Kammer, Robert Dick, Björn Lehmann, Bernd Ickert, Christoph Ullrich, Matthias Schubert, and Christian Ridil (Ensemble Kontraste), among other artists.
