Anna Khomichko’s consummate artistry rests on a powerful musical conviction, intelligence, and maturity. Her fascinating personality and charisma – not only proven by her stage performances, but also during her live moderations – immediately mesmerises any sort of audience.
Communicating with a young generation in the language they understand best – Anna Khomichko is on a mission to constantly provide high-quality content for her fast-growing blogs about classical music on YouTube and Instagram. She creates a role model of a young female leading musician and aspires to inspire thousands of teenagers, and in fact, people of any age, background, or profession.
Anna Khomichko was invited to important festivals such as Karlsruher Meisterkonzerte, Mainzer Musiksommer, Interlaken Classics Music Festival, Nordlysfestivalen, Kulturfestival Chemnitz, International Piano Festival in Hainfeld and Meisterpianisten Zittau. She has performed in such concert halls as Karlsruher Konzerthaus, Gasteig München, ART CITY Hamamatsu in Japan, Palau Güell in Barcelona, ZK Matthews Great Hall in South Africa, Halls of the Moscow and Saint Petersburg Philharmonias, halls of the German radio stations SWR and BR and many others. This season she is debuting in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain and Sweden.
In 2023 Anna Khomichko is going on a tournee with the Münchner Kammerphilharmonie dacapo where she will also debut in Herkulessaal Munich. She is also invited to perform with the Freie Symphonie Tübingen. In the previous seasons Anna was seen performing with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, Collegium Musicum in Nuremberg, the Bryansk Philharmonic Orchestra, the Murmansk Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music.
Anna Khomichko is a winner of 15 international competitions and has been granted scholarships by the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, the DOMS Foundation, the Anna Ruths Foundation and the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
Anna Khomichko comes from a Belarusian-Ukrainian family and grew up in the north of Russia. She started to play the piano at the age of four. She graduated from the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow, the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne.
