Michel Tabachnik is a phenomenon and a pillar of musicianship. Up to 2015 music director of the Brussels Philharmonic, he is still the orchestra’s Conductor Emeritus today. After studying piano, composition, and conducting in Geneva, Tabachnik was discovered by several famous conductors and enjoyed early support from Herbert von Karajan, Igor Markevitch, and Pierre Boulez. In addition to his successful conducting career, Tabachnik is also internationally active as a composer, author, and educator.
