The 22-year-old pianist is regarded a very promising German up-and-coming artist. Concert tours led her to many parts of Europe, to Israel and the USA so far. In December 2010 Annika Treutler debuted with Schumann‘s Piano Concert accompanying the German Symphonic Orchestra Berlin on the piano in their Great Concert Hall. Since then she has been playing as soloist with different renowned orchestras such as the Polish Chamber Orchestra, the Robert-Schumann Philharmonia Chemnitz, the Neubrandenburg Philharmonics, the New Philharmonic Westfalia, the Oslo Symphonic Orchestra as well as the Radio-Symphonic Orchstra Berlin conducted by Stefan Soltesz, Ward Stare or Heiko Matthias Förster. In the season 2011/2012 she was awarded scholarship by the Mozart Gesellschaft Dortmund during which she performed Mozart Piano Concert KV 482 under conduct of Steven Sloane with the Bochum Symphony Orchestra to a full concert hall. The pianist took part in the ‚Movimentos‘ festival in Autostadt Wolfsburg, the festival ‚Liszt en Provence‘, repeatedly in ‚Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern‘ and has been broadcasted live numerously on NDR and Deutschlandradio. In 2011 Annika Treutler established the music festival ‚Sommerklang‘ which since then has been taking place every year in the ‚Kunststätte Bossard‘ near Hamburg. Receiving her first piano tuition at the age of four by Almut Eckles she moved on to Professor Renate Kretschmar-Fischer in 2001. At the age of just 21 she received her diploma with the highest possible score after studying with Prof. Matthias Kirschnereit at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock. At present she is completing her master studies under guidance of Prof. Bernd Goetzke at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover. Master Courses led by Prof. Kretschmar-Fischer, Janina Fialkowska, Bernd Goetzke, Elisabeth Leonskaja and Murray Perahia, with whom she worked on Bach‘s Goldberg Variations, enrich her education. Annika Treutler has been honoured in numerous national and international competitions: Besides different prizes at the International Klavierpodium München she has been awarded 2nd (there was no 1st prize) and the public‘s prize at Concours Grieg in Oslo, 1st prize at the Maritim Competition and Public‘s Special Prize at the Gina Bachauer Klavierwettbewerb in Salt Lake City. Taking part in the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb in Berlin in 2011 she was honoured with a scholarship as well as two special prizes. The awardee of the Oscar und Vera Ritter-Stiftung/Foundation and of the GWK (Society for the Promotion of Cultural matters in Westfalia) also receives the scholarship of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (German National Academic Foundation). Highlights of the coming season 2012/2013 will be her debut playing 1st Piano Concert by Tschaikowski with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra in Gasteig as well as playing again at the Robert-Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra in Chemnitz and the Festspiele in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
