Dariya Hrynkiv

Ukrainian pianist Dariya Hrynkiv, who has resided in Germany since 2009, began her musical training with her mother Tamara Dadiani at the Lutsk Special School of Music. During her youth she already received numerous prizes at various competitions. After studying at the Lviv National Musical Academy "M. Lysenko" with P. Yurzenko, she completed an additional program of study in the piano masterclass of M. Krych.
From 2005 to 2009, Dariya Hrynkiv was principal répétiteur at the Lviv National Musical Academy and established a profile as a sought-after pianist at international competitions. In 2007 she received the Special Prize in Kiev, and in 2008 a diploma in Lviv for best accompanist. Since 2009 she has served as Lecturer in Instrumental Accompaniment at the Dresden College of Music.
As a sought-after duo partner, she is regularly engaged as the official accompanist at international violin competitions. Dariya Hrynkiv frequently performs solo recitals, orchestral concerts, and chamber music concerts. With Czech violinist Ivan Ženatý, she released a CD in 2010 featuring works by Carl Maria von Weber. In 2012 she joined with Annette Unger to present her first GENUIN CD, Romantic Paths. She also released a recording with MDR together with Fanny Fröde, winner of the international competition "Violine in Dresden."
As a chamber musician, she appears in a variety of ensembles with members of the Staatskapelle Dresden. Dariya Hrynkiv regularly accompanies the auditions of the Staatskapelle Dresden and the Dresden Philharmonic.
