Concerto Málaga
The Spanish string orchestra Concer to Málaga founded in 1996 and dedicated to the study and interpretation of the string repertoire from the Baroque era to the present day, with particular emphasis on Spanish music. Its concert season is centred on the Ciclo Las Cuatro Estaciones (CIVE - cycle of 4 seasons) and it is the resident orchestra of the International Forum of High Musical Achievement of Southern Europe (FIAPMSE) and of the County of Donegal in Ireland. It has toured the Adriatic seaboard, the Benelux countries, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Germany. Concerto Málaga works with such well-known soloists as the pianist María Luisa Cantos, the cellist Mihai Dancila, the flamenco guitarist Juan Martín, the violinist Mariana Sirbu and the celebrated guitarist Pepe Romero. Since 2003, its Principal and Artistic Director has been Massimo Paris, conductor, composer, renowned soloist and chamber musician of international repute.
