Susanne Fröhlich

Susanne Fröhlich is dedicated not only to early and traditional music but also to contemporary music, improvisation, comprovisation, and new concert formats She regularly performs international concerts and workshops.
As a former founding member of the recorder quartet QNG - Quartet New Generation, she performs as a soloist in various chamber music formations and different productions in the fields of visual arts, opera, and theatre, including collaborations with Saâdane Afif and Ari Benjamin Meyers. She has played numerous world premieres in top concert halls and at renowned festivals, including with Ensemble Adapter, Ictus Ensemble, Marc Sinan Company, and Trickster Orchestra.
She has been honoured with many international awards and scholarships and has held a teaching position at the University of the Arts Berlin since April 2010.
