Born in Montreal, Canada, Aude St-Pierre received her first piano lessons when she was three years old and recorded her first CD at the age of eleven, which was produced and aired by the state broadcaster CBC/Radio-Canada. Two years later, she made her orchestral debut and won a prize at her first international piano competition.

She began her piano studies in Canada with André Laplante and Marc Durand at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique de Montréal and at the Université de Montréal. In 2013, she came to Germany and studied with pianist Nina Tichman at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, where she completed an artistic master’s degree and pedagogical training. While still studying in Cologne, she was appointed a piano lecturer there.

Aude St-Pierre was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium in 2016 and is the winner of many chamber music and piano competitions. As a soloist, she has performed with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and the Toruńska Orkiestra Symfoniczna, among others, and has appeared in renowned concert halls such as New York’s Carnegie Hall (USA), Ottawa’s National Arts Centre (Canada), and Toruń’s Dwór Artusa (Poland). In addition, she has performed in Germany, Italy, France, Spain, and the Netherlands. Her first recording of piano works by Maria Herz was broadcast by SRF 2, Deutschlandfunk, and WDR 3.

Aude St-Pierre is assistant director and piano instructor at the Städtische Musikschule Meerbusch.
