Ulrich Witteler

Ulrich Witteler was a founding member of the Gémeaux Quartet, with whom he can look back on a busy international concert career, not least thanks to a 3rd prize and the audience prize at the ARD competition in Munich. In addition, he has recorded for all the major German radio stations and has been invited to renowned festivals, including Lucerne, Davos and the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg.

From 2011 to 2013, Ulrich Witteler was also principal cellist of the Munich Chamber Orchestra and lecturer at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Since 2013 he has been principal cellist of the Bamberg Symphony.
