After the highly acclaimed spring opening of the new GENUIN presentation concerts, at the Bundesverwaltungsgericht it was again "Frisch gepresst"! This time with the award-winning Eliot Quartett, his debut CD of the same name and string quartets by Karol Szymanowski and Ludwig van Beethoven.
Especially in 2018, the young Canadian-Russian-German ensemble caused a sensation with its crystal-clear yet sensual sound, which impressed the juries of four international competitions in a row and won the prize of the German Music Competition with three special prizes. The musicians also play at a dizzying level on their prize-winning CD, which was released in the Primavera Edition on 4 October 2019 by GENUIN: Beethoven's op. 18 No. 1 will be contrasted with Szymanowski's op. 56 in a multi-faceted way.
"Freshly pressed" in the Bundesverwaltungsgericht
As a label of numerous young and outstanding musicians we were happy to present an ascending ensemble together with the association Kunst & Justiz im Bundesverwaltungsgericht e.V. as part of the series "Frisch gepresst".
The "Frisch gepresst" series was launched in the early 2000s to present new CD releases from GENUIN where we have our headquarters: in Leipzig. In cooperation with Dresdner Bank, concerts were held with GENUIN artists such as Paul Badura-Skoda, Nicolas Altstaedt, Camerata Musica Limburg and Tobias Koch.
