This year's ARD Music Competition has come to an end. Between September 3 and 21, 2018, the jury selected the best musicians in the subjects Vocals, Trumpet, Viola, and Piano Trio. In addition to the four first and second prize winners and the five third prizes, there are numerous special prizes and scholarships. These include the GENUIN Special Prize, which this year goes to Diyang Mei, the first prize winner in the viola category – personally selected by the GENUIN sound engineers.
