Distinguished guests at GENUIN: The five a cappella masters of amarcord were just in our studio to edit their new CD "Tenebrae" with one of the GENUIN recording engineers. At the cathedral in Wurzen, the ensemble sang sacred European music of various styles and epochs from the early years to today.
The collaboration between amarcord and GENUIN enjoys a long tradition: GENUIN recording engineers have overseen numerous recordings by the ensemble, including the CD "Wald.Horn.Lied", a joint production by german hornsound and amacord that was released under the GENUIN label.
The program of the new CD "Tenebrae" will also be presented at the opening concert of the a-cappella-festival on 21 April 2017 at 8.00 pm in the Thomaskirche in Leipzig. For more information, please visit the festival’s website.
