"Anno 2205," which features a GENUIN soundtrack, is awarded the 2016 German Computer Game Prize

Yesterday in Munich, “Anno 2205” was awarded a prize in the category “Best German Computer Game of 2016.” The elaborate orchestral soundtrack was produced last year in May by GENUIN, together with Dynamedion and the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) directed by Bernd Ruf. The jury was full of praise for the loving and detailed rendition and its high level of quality.

The “Anno” series, developed in Mainz, has been thrilling computer game aficionados for 15 years. “Anno 1602,” the first installment of the economic simulation game series, quickly rose to blockbuster status – an economic and strategy simulation that focuses more on a realistic portrayal of the market economy and less on wars and battles. For many years, GENUIN has also been part of the team, recording the orchestral soundtrack with German symphony orchestras. The sixth installment, “Anno 2205,” is set in the future.
