150th Birthday of Richard Strauss - GENUIN Congratulates with Nine Recordings
The composer and conductor Richard Strauss was born in Munich 150 years ago today. With tone poems including Don Juan, Thus Spake Zarathustra and Don Quixote, vocal works including the Four Last Songs, Krämerspiegel (The Shopkeeper's Mirror) and Songs of the Orient, the operas Elektra, Capriccio and Daphne, orchestral music such as the Horn Concerto as well as ballet and chamber music, he left us a wide repertoire and is considered one of the most important romantic composers.
