Bach Festival starts today in Leipzig - GENUIN is on the scene again this year
7 June 2012 - Starting today, the Bach Archive in Leipzig is once again inviting music lovers to the Bach Festival, this year celebrating the 800th anniversary of Leipzig's renowned St. Thomas School. Artists from all over the world can be heard at a total of 124 concerts from 7 until 17 June.
GENUIN is responsible for the professional sound quality at the appearance of the Leipzig Amarcords on 8 June at the Marktplatz, as well as for recording the cantata concert of the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra directed by Ton Koopman on 9 June at the Nikolaikirche. This concert will be broadcast on 1 July 2012 by DeutschlandradioKultur.
