GENUIN’s soundtrack production for "Paraworld" has won 1st prize in the category of “Best Original Instrumental Theme” in America at the world’s most important computer games music awards - the G.A.N.G.-Awards – in San Francisco/CA, thus triumphing over strong international competition.
The use of “real” symphony orchestras (this time the "Magdeburg Philharmonic Orchestra) is considered relatively novel in the computer games branch. Due to ever more realistic graphic representation, the desire for music arose that was not “canned” or taken from sound libraries.
Since 2003 the prize has been awarded annually in several categories.
