A work by Karlheinz Stockhausen will receive its premiere performance at the Salzburg Festival on 30 August at 7:30 PM as the final concert of the Festival:
MIXTUR (2003) for five instrumental groups, four sinus generator players and four sound mixers. The Deutsche Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin will perform under Stockhausen’s direction. A GENUIN sound engineer will be on the stage, operating the sinus generator according to instructions in the score.
