In 2023, soprano Eva Zalenga emerged as the winner of the German Music Competition and won a CD production for Genuin. Now the time has come and the album is about to be released.
Under the title varia · bel, a colourful programme of impressive music for soprano and various instrumental ensembles was created that takes the listener through three centuries. The diversity of the album is reflected in the selection of works, which ranges from Schubert's ‘Der Hirt auf dem Felsen’, songs by Rebecca Clareke and Pauline Viardot to a new version of the song ‘Je t'aime’ by French composer Isabelle Aboulker and the world premiere recording of Ignaz Lachner's work ‘An die Entfernte (In die Ferne)’.
She will be joined by her longstanding piano partner Doriana Tchakarova, clarinettist Adam Ambarzumjan, violinist Victoria Wong and cellist Till Schuler as congenial chamber music partners.
To mark the forthcoming release the soprano invites you to a release concert.
