Nikita Volov’s new GENUIN album, “Out of Place”, features vibrant, complex, and often outcast characters from famous novels. Volov's innovative program includes an imaginative arrangement of Edvard Grieg's "Peer Gynt" Suite, Erich Wolfgang Korngold's pieces about the mad idealist "Don Quixote", and Robert Schumann's "Kreisleriana", a portrayal of the tragicomic conductor Kreisler from E.T.A. Hoffmann's books. These unique "out of place" individuals continue to inspire the world. With masterful interpretation and deep understanding, Volov brings these fascinating characters to life, showcasing their timeless relevance.
