We are greeted by a slender and lively sound of the piano trio when we place the debut GENUIN CD of the Eldering Ensemble into the CD player. In addition to Beethoven's "Ghost Trio" and Mendelssohn's dark Trio in C minor, two of the major works in the repertoire, there is a Duetto by Louis Spohr, which was not yet available on CD. A world premiere recording of the new Urtext edition, insightfully played by the young, highly acclaimed musicians with verve. It is a debut CD that makes you want to hear more!
