The outstanding pianist Yorck Kronenberg is now presenting his second CD in the Movimentos Edition – a collaboration between GENUIN and the auto city of Wolfsburg. He performs all the piano concertos of Johann Sebastian Bach together with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra. This is a major undertaking that the musicians approach with great lightness and joy in playing. Subsidiary voices blossom, everything vibrates and sings out the joy and pleasure of this music. Kronenberg's grand piano is illuminated in timbres that inspire listeners, allowing the works (originally written for the harpsichord) to sound completely new and fresh – perhaps exactly the way Bach conceived them?
